In an attempt to explain the Circle of Life, Mufasa says to Simba; “when we die our bodies become the grass……the antelope eat the grass……” How is this possible? Describe the process that Mufasa is referring to in detail. Specifically explain what organisms play a role in this process.

The process that Mufasa is referring to is called decomposition.

Decomposition and nutrient cycling involve various organisms, such as bacteria, fungi, earthworms, insects, and scavengers, that feed on dead organic matter and release nutrients into the soil.

the plants grow in the soil because of its rich contents of minerals and such, then the antelope graze on the grass.
